Is the tribulation that is upon Christians in Africa - a forerunner of the Great Tribulation prophesied to come upon the whole world? Islamic Jihadists in the nation of Nigeria are murdering and displacing so many Christians that President Trump has threatened to intervene.
Accusing the Nigerian government of not doing enough to help the majority Christian population there, President Trump has ordered the Pentagon to prepare to take action against these African Terrorists. He also has threatened to cut off financial aid to the Nigerian government, if they don’t do more to stop the slaughter.
President Trump was recently quoted as saying, “If we attack, it will be fast, vicious and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our cherished Christians.”
According to reports from organizations such as ‘Genocide Watch,’ and ‘Open Doors International,’ between 2009 and 2022 - 45,000 Christians, and 30,000 moderate Muslims have been murdered by the terrorist organization known as ‘Boko Haram’ - which is supported militarily and financially by the nation of Iran.
It used to be that Christians were only under threat in the Muslim majority nations of North Africa, but over the last decade, Islamic Jihad has spread throughout the African continent.
Are you praying for the protection of our brothers and sisters in Africa? What does your Bible say about African peoples, and where they came from? Does Scripture say anything prophetic about African nations? Yes it does, as we’ll see!
According to your Bible, and Historians, Egyptians came from the line of Ham: “Israel also came into Egypt,
And Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.” (PSALM 105:23) Ham was one of the 3 sons of Noah, and his lineage is given in the book of Genesis: “The sons of Ham were Cush (Modern day Sudan), Mizraim (Egypt), Put (Libya), and Canaan (modern day Gaza).” (GENESIS 10:6)
The African continent has the worst desert/farmland ratio of all the continents, with 25% of Africa being desert, and 40% being agricultural lands. Africa has the least number of navigable rivers of any of the continents, and only 100 harbors or ports. By comparison, Asia has 1700 harbors, Europe 1200, and the USA over a thousand. Rivers & ports are the distribution paths of a nation’s exports, so consequently, Africa accounts for less than 3 percent of the world’s exports.
Why is there no ‘African Union’ of nations like in Europe? Africa has over 2000 ethnic groups and languages, compared to a few hundred in Europe. Also, most Europeans speak English as a 2nd language, making it easy for them to communicate with one another - while only 14% of Africans speak English.
Unfortunately, the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse seem to be riding in Africa. The white & red horses of war, the black horse of famine, and the green horse of pestilence - are all plaguing Africa today! The Greek word ‘Chloros,’ from which we get the English word ‘Chlorophyll,’ which is green pigment, is translated correctly by a few Bible Translators as ‘green’ horse. God gives this combination of colors for the 4 horsemen for a reason! The only nations on earth that have white, red, black and green in their flags are Islamic nations today - with the exception of Kenya, which Islamic Jihadists will soon turn from Christian to Muslim, if the current rate of terrorism there continues.
Gog, the chief Prince of Meshech & Tubal (2 City-States in Asia Minor, according to Josephus), enters into Israel in the Latter times (EZEKIEL 38:1-9) with 2 African allies (Sudan & Libya - both Muslim nations today).
The King of the North also enters into the ‘Glorious’ land (Israel), “at the time of the End” (DANIEL 11:40-43) accompanied by these same 2 African allies - leading many Theologians to believe that Gog, and the King of the North, are one and the same individual.
For more details about Gog, the King of the North, and the Beast, read my past blogs below, or watch the T.V. versions at our Youtube channel called ORIGINAL CHRISTIANITY.
Unfortunately, this tribulation that is now upon the African continent, will one day spread to all continents and all nations, empowered by Satan the Devil (REVELATION 13:1-7)
You can rest assured that our African brothers and sisters in Christ are encouraged by Paul’s statement in the book of Romans: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (ROMANS 8:35-39)
I hope you’ll join me in daily prayer, for angelic deliverance of our brethren facing tribulation in Africa!
